Nordtveit
Best game for us by far, and Slaven, keep playing him in a defensive midfield postition.

How he kept tracking down Barely was impressive.

Well done!

Played in his proper position and looked decent....who could have guessed that might happen!

Re: Nordtveit
Christ, these owners have managed your expectations to such a low level that Nordveit performance was deemed good. Christ.

First half he was very poor, second half he won a couple of tackles and hit a couple of decent crossfire passes WHEN UNDER NO PRESSURE. He still got turned easily, ran past at will and showed a real lack of pace.

He did no more today than what Kovac used to do.

Please remember we are a PL team.

Re: Nordtveit
....oh yeah, this was against an Everton team who played like they were not interested.

he is just too slow

Re: Nordtveit
1307 - absolute bullocks to say that Everton played like they weren't interested. Their poor showing was entirely down to the excellent work of our defence, and Nordtveit played a big part in that. Fuck me, there are some negative, miserable buggers on here but you take the prize.

Re: Nordtveit
the e, so you are saying we played well?
Jeez, that was a very, very poor game between 2 teams who created hardly anything.
You think we blunted Everton? They did that themselves by playing a lazy striker WHO WAS NOT INTERESTED.

A truly atrocious game of football and many fans seem ti forget we are a PL team. Fans cheering a cleared hoof upfield today. Christ.

Re: Nordtveit
He was my MOM today considering he has been played out of position a lot this season and must seriously be lacking in confidence

Well done Havard son

Re: Nordtveit
Obviously a lot have already made their mind up about him, had a very good game today, one swallow don't make a summer but deserves some more games based on today's performance.

Re: Nordtveit
1307 - I don't deny it was a poor game, as an attacking spectacle. It was all about the defences, both of which were excellent, especially ours, considering who we were up against. That's not to say that any of the attacking players weren't interested, it's just that the defence was good, and that includes Nordtveit.

Re: Nordtveit
Our defence, with midfielders closely in front of them, we're up against a CF who didn't break sweat and clearly does not want to be at Everton.

We really are a strange set of fans, give credit to shit like Nordveit and sing Bilics' name (even though he shit on us as a player and is an appalling manager) yet, imo, do not show enough love to our real class players like Lanzini and Reid.

Haha 1307, Lukaku not interested and not breaking a sweat.
From all idiots who have been chased away from who, i think you are moving up to the #1 spot. Well done!

It wouldn't surprise me if you are aka fordstar

Re: Nordtveit
He wasn't motm in my book but he did have a good game and was very important in protecting the back 3. His reading of the game was impressive and he put in some excellent tackles and used the ball intelligently.

I thought he had nothing to offer us. I might be wrong.
